  • I hear tax relief is available on Health Insurance Premiums, how does this work?

    Tax is deducted at source so you do not have the trouble of claiming back tax relief from the Revenue Commissioners.

  • What is an excess?

    An excess is the amount of money that is deducted from your claim once Aviva have calculated the benefit that you are due back.  Excesses are a common feature of all insurance policies.  The good news is that the excess with Aviva is less than with other health insurance providers and that there is no administrative work for you to do when dealing with it.

  • What cover is available for children?

    Aviva have innovative benefits built into their family plans for children.  For members on Level 2 or higher, children go onto the same level of cover as the policyholder at no extra cost.  Tiered pricing also applies, so your second and third children cost less and the fourth and any subsequent child are free.  If your children are studying, they will be considered to be a a student up to age 23 at the renewal date provided they are in full time education.

  • What is your "Nurse on Call" Service?

    As a health member with Aviva you have access to a team of qualified medical nurses for non emergency medical information  24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.  You can receive information on a wide range of lifestyle issues sich as nutrition, first aid, pregnancy, allergies, children's health and much more.  You simply call the number and provide your membership number.
