Leaderboard ...Week 13 - The Final Week

 
At last it's here, New Year's Eve and our final leaderboard has just been published.
 
The markets have been kind to most players since the competition started and anybody who took a positive view on equities and high risk funds in particular has been rewarded.
 
However, the story of this competition has been the pefrormance of Commodities which have risen through the course of the past three months. Anybody keeping a keen eye on domestic oil or petrol prices can testify to that.
 
Six players chose to invest solely in the Commodities Fund and have come out jointly on top.  Well done to all of them for having the foresight to go for this fund, although we wouldn't recommend this in a real life situation!
 
We will be making contact with our leaders in the New Year to participate in the tie breaker, which will decide the ultimate winner of the competition.
 
We will also contact each player individually over the next couple of weeks advising them of their individual scores. We will also provide details of the top performing funds.
 
A big thank you to all who took part in the competition and we wish you all the very best for 2011.
